Venturing into Flash (Actionscript 3.0) Game Development

Last week I was pondering what all “things” I could learn next. I’m no J2ME wiz but I do feel I have coded enough to know the bare basics and realize now that I should have listened to people giving me advice about J2ME since most said it was a “waste of time” (just a little FYI J2ME is actually Java ME since Java has changed the naming). I don’t see J2ME as being a waste of time; it just isn’t really something that is too hip right now. It seems like a dying market when compared to Smartphone growth. In short I actually love the syntax of J2ME (Java syntax) and code flow but don’t like the compatibility issues and the dying market that goes along with it….
